Gifted and Talented

The El Dorado County Office of Education hosts quarterly meetings for school district GATE Coordinators to meet and discuss ways to improve GATE programs, including sharing ideas and resources.

The El Dorado County Office of Education, Charter Alternative Programs, and our local school districts join together each year to host a recognized speaker on Gifted and Talented programs for parents and community members throughout El Dorado County.

Charter Alternative Programs participate in the Gifted and Talented (GATE) program for students, offering a range of opportunities depending on each program's unique needs.
